The meaning behind the name
"Fair winds and following seas" is a traditional salute to sailors to wish them well on their voyage. The name and logo which includes a nautical element serves as a metaphor for guidance through a mental journey of discovery. It is also a tribute to our brave service members, veterans and their families. Following Seas is proud to offer specialized mental health for first responders, military, and veterans. However, if you are not apart of those communities you are still welcome to become a client and receive high quality clinical therapy.

We work together with our clients to make a treatment plan that aligns with their unique goals. Whatever your reason for seeking therapy, we respect you as fellow human beings and aim to make you feel comfortable in the therapeutic environment. We use evidence-based practice and theory to help you heal your nervous system safely with a bit of humor when the opportunity presents itself, too.

Looking for a therapist or clinical supervisor? You've come to the right place.
If you are looking for therapy or clinical consultation/supervision, you have your choice of virtual or in-person services at the *new* Cole Harbour office, located at 1090 Cole Harbour Road (Inside Selby's Bunker). The clinic is open by appointment only, Monday to Friday 9am-8:30pm.
