The meaning behind the name

"Fair winds and following seas" is a traditional salute to sailors to wish them well on their voyage. The name and logo which includes a nautical element serves as a metaphor for guidance through a mental journey of discovery. It is also a tribute to our brave service members, veterans and their families. Following Seas is proud to offer specialized mental health for first responders, military, and veterans. However, if you are not apart of those communities you are still welcome to become a client and receive high quality clinical therapy.

ALL ABOUT THERAPY

Individualized treatment for whatever stage you're at.

You may have heard the phrase, "it takes a village." Having a qualified therapist that makes you feel safe is a key part of your village when it comes to healing. We will work together to make a treatment plan that aligns with your values and makes sense for you. Whatever your reason for seeking therapy, I respect you as a fellow human being and aim to make you feel comfortable in the therapeutic environment. I use evidence-based practice and theory to help you achieve your goals safely with a bit of humor when the opportunity presents itself, too.

Currently accepting clients for October 2024 DBT Skills 8 Week Group Session, EMDR Therapy Intensives and couples therapy!
