GET TO KNOW ME

Not your grandmother's stuffy, robo-therapist.

Samantha Sarty (formerly King) RN CPMHN(C) MSW RSW

Hi! I'm Sam.

Ever since I was a kid, I knew I wanted to get into a career that would make a difference in people’s lives. This passion for helping others and interest in psychology led me to become a psychotherapist. However, through my studies at St FX University (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) and Wilfrid Laurier University (Masters in Social Work), I quickly realized that the mental health field is evolving and in dire need of a refreshing perspective. Gone are the days where people seek to lay on a couch in a stuffy therapist's office and leave feeling no more empowered or helped. I value meeting people where they are at using a non-judgmental stance and therapies based in validated research to help you achieve your goals. Most of all, I believe in the power of our therapeutic alliance and humor which I welcome in the therapy space. So if you are ready to improve your mental health and well-being with a modern therapist, let's chat.
