EMDR Consultation for Clinicians

Seasoned EMDR therapists know that behind every transformational trauma therapy session is an EMDR consultant that supported the journey. EMDR is a modality that many therapists find feels very different than what they were taught in grad school, or even some other modalities they have been practicing for years. It can take time to really understand the theory of the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) Model and feel confident in the EMDR Standard Protocol, especially if you work with clients who experience complex trauma, neurodiversity, and/or are apart of special populations like LGBTQIA2S+, BIPOC and military veterans.

Sam Sarty is an EMDRIA-Approved Consultant who has 5 years of EMDR clinical experience, over a decade of professional practice experience, and a wealth of knowledge to support your practice. Sam is also an EMDRIA-Approved CE Provider and is in the process of developing advanced courses pending EMDRIA CEs. Sam brings a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to the consultation space and values the unique lenses every consultee brings. Whether you are new to the field or a veteran therapist, Sam welcomes you with great humility, respect and an unwavering desire to lift you up.

Sam offers individual EMDRIA certification hours, one-off consults, and consultation groups. Sam's next consultation group begins on September 25th 2026. It runs biweekly on Fridays from 9am-11am until December 18th. This group is a combo of individual and group hours which will give you 15 of the 20 hours required for EMDRIA Certification. The total investment is only $60 per consultation hour, for a total of $900 for the program.
